BigGong - Based on the latest reports coming from South Korea, Samsung plans to begin mass production of the Exynos 8890 chipset for Galaxy S7 start next December. Chipset which also has a code name or Mongoose M1 will be made by Samsung's first chipset that delivers customization features CPU cores. South Korean vendor will not be using the design of ARM again as long as this has been used by other Exynos chipset.
Using a custom CPU core will be very significant for Samsung, because by using its own chipset design, the cost incurred will be suppressed. Additionally chipset for Samsung smartphone will be more optimal because it can be adjusted yourself, so Samsung has more value in the market.
So far only Intel, Apple, Qualcomm, AMD and ARM has its own CPU designs in the semiconductor market. If this is the Exynos 8890 will use the architecture and design made by Samsung itself, then Samsung will be the equivalent of the companies mentioned above.
